Bugbear Artificer

Slipshod Mastarran, meaning 'Poorly-Built in old english, and Mastermind' in goblin.

Backstory:
Slipshod Mastarran was a bugbear born to a family of goblinoids on the Isle of Lush, deep in a caverns beneath the Sunframe Mountains. Having been born quite large, his mother tragically did not survive giving birth to him. Slipshod's father was thus left broken, angry, and solely in charge of his small goblin family. (Comprised of himself, young Slipshod, a pair of stealthy Hobgoblin twins, and 6 dim-witted goblins). Growing up, Slipshod was always fascinated by the complex traps, and quality-of-life improving constructions that were crafted by the goblin runt of the family, Lugnut.
Long after they had bonded, much to his young son's dismay, Slipshod's father began thrashing Lugnut around the cavern for "wasting too many resources on foolish traps". The young Slipshod intervined, killing his father with a single blow of his spiked greatclub. In doing so, he became the family's new leader.
Once fully grown, he found his form randomly generated near the peak height (@6ft, 10in) and at the peak weight (@300lbs) of bugbear genetics, and thus was moderately gifted with a decent strength, dexterity, and constitution. More interestingly however, he was crafty, cold, and calculated. Having seen the bounties that can be so easily claimed when Lugnut's traps succeed, Slipshod learned to trust in his engineer's crafting prowess.
One fate-filled day, everything changed again at the site of their favorite highway ambush. Laying in wait, Slipshod spotted their next victim frantically running down the road. This strangely dressed gnome man was rapidly dissassembling a small futuristic machine, and dropping the metal parts along the road behind him. Hot in pursuit of him was a 4-legged metallic beast. The robotic canine caught up to the man, knocking him to the ground, and pouncing on top of him before they dissapeared together in a flash of light. Confused about what just transpired before them, the Bugbear leader and his tiny goblin sidekick came out to investigate. They collected his foreign, futuristic backpack with runic combination locks, along with dozens of metal pieces brimming with magical energy. Slipshod now spends his free time trying different runic combinations on his backpack's pockets, upgrading his greatclub, the "Snarltin' Smashar", with technological tinkerings, and trying to reassemble all the metal pieces back into their original formation. All he knows is whenever he attaches the metal pieces to an ordinary object, it will be instantly bestowed with magical effects. With his new toolkit, this hulking mastermind and his tiny engineer now have the tools they need to build a brighter future for goblinkind.
